Veterinary Surgery Conference - Louisville Event Photography

This fall the Telegraph Visuals team covered the 2023 American College of Veterinary Surgeons convention in Louisville, Kentucky. The annual gathering brings together the best and brightest minds in the field of veterinary surgery. Having photographed many conventions and large corporate events in the past, Telegraph Visuals was right at home. The job of an event photographer is to capture beautiful, story-telling images that document the events of a convention or corporate meeting. And that’s exactly what we did. 

We were on site for four days photographing veterinary labs, breakout sessions, awards ceremonies, and keynote speakers. The exhibit hall was full of vendors, many of whom were premier sponsors of the convention. 

Behind the scenes the team from Maritz Global Events was an absolute dream to work with. They were professionals, through and through, and provided excellent guidance in terms of what breakout sessions and research presentations they expected to provide the best photos. 

Some of the highlights of the event included having the opportunity to photograph world-class surgeons instructing students and passing on their knowledge to the next generation. We also covered a reception thrown for the ACVS’s top supporters and philanthropic donors.

Our photos were delivered ahead of schedule, to the satisfaction of the client. All in all, the Telegraph Visuals team did what we do best: we put on our event photographer hats and made sure the ACVS came away with excellent photos from their summit here in our hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
