Recent Kentucky Bourbon Photos

In November Telegraph Visuals was contacted by German magazine Brand Eins to photograph a story about the future of the White Oak tree in Kentucky. As you probably know, White Oak staves are used to construct the whiskey barrels used in the production of Kentucky bourbon. Being a photographer based in Louisville, Kentucky means that capturing beautiful images of the state’s booming bourbon industry is a regular occurrence. For this particular assignment we visited Maker’s Mark Distillery, Buffalo Trace, and Old Forrester Distillery in downtown Louisville. We also met with scientists from Kentucky’s White Oak Initiative on the campus of the University of Kentucky. We hope you enjoy the photos!
